Driving up the long country drive and being chased by a random neighboring dog, I have to admit, I wasn’t sure how well I was going to do at Chris and Erica’s engagement session. I hadn’t been to this farm before and I had only met Erica once and never met Chris, well, I had nothing to worry about. Chris and Erica’s easy going personalities and ease in front of the camera made this session a blast to shoot. I have some of the most amazing brides and grooms! Erica and Chris met in high school and have been sweethearts since they were juniors. And when they’re not running their Big Fat A$$ 5K, Chris is fishing in his parent’s pond.

Chris and Erica, you’re stunning! See you in September!

Jake and Maureen :: Married

Everything about Jake and Maureen’s wedding day went just perfectly, well, we could have done without the 95 degree weather, but, hey, we managed. There was so much laughing and joy I don’t think anything could have went wrong. I so honored to have been part of an amazing team to help bring their day together!

Dan & Jill :: Engaged

Laughter is contagious. I know it.

The entire time Dan and Jill were together at their engagement session they were laughing and joking around. Me? I was laughing my head off. That’s how I know laughter is contagious.

Dan has history at an old church downtown St. Louis. It’s a church that his great grandfather started many days ago. Today it stands empty (except for maybe an occasional squatter), but it made for a great session. And you can’t actually claim to be from St. Louis and not work in Busch Stadium at some point!

Brad & Nickie :: Engaged

The Arch. Busch Stadium. Truly St. Louis. Nickie and Brad meet at college in Oklahoma, but St. Louis will be their home together this July when they marry.

We had perfect weather as we milled, no, more like, hiked our way around downtown chatting about St. Louis, baseball, and future plans. Nickie and Brad, you are truly an amazing couple with a great future together! Can’t wait until July!

Mike & Alexis :: Engaged

Alexis and Mike are getting married in November and I can’t wait! We went down to Central West End for their engagement session and had a blast. They were full of laughter and made my job as an engagement photographer easy. Oreo couldn’t have been cuter, but wasn’t about to sit still for his photo op. We were able to sneak a few in before he darted.

Confession: I’m just a little bit nervous about this new endeavor. I mean, it’s getting me out of my comfort zone (again!) and I love my comfort zone, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned in my 30 something years of life is, you’ll never make a difference in your world if you never feel your palms sweat and your knees knock.
